Sims 3 custom content: Where I'm getting it

Quite a few friends of mine have asked me where I get my custom content (besides, of course, modthesims and the exchange)

These are the sites I've used more than once:

thesimsresource.com
modthesims.info
http://sims3-models.ucoz.com/
http://www.sims3updates.net/
http://shyneinnocence.wordpress.com/
http://all-about-style.com/
http://www.spring4sims.com
http://mysims3blog.blogspot.com

I have used RaonJena for the hair there once. I have downloaded from ClubCrymson once.

I avoid using modthesims and the exchange anymore unless I want to find the latest update for the Pose Player or some of Delphy's converters.
I will make future posts when I find more sites that I use/that I like. (a year of collecting CC, definitely not remembering them all tonight)

Sarah and Stanze Brown

I made a sim couple that looks like my girlfriend and me (and they do look rather close) and decided to take a bunch of pictures. I think they turned out nice...

*the last two are my favorites*
I love you Stanze

Sims 3 music video: Chris Medina - What are Words

This is the second music video I've made, and am very proud of it. It isn't too bad for a beginner.

Jetta, Aiden, and Zoey Kraemer

I cannot upload these to the exchange, or any other type of way, because (if I remember correctly) the creators of some of the CC do not want them redistributed. I can, however, let you know where the CC came from. So for now, these are only for show. These are some of my favorite sims.

The mother's hair is from Anubis360, and the dress I got off of thesimsresource.
The father sim I got from MartyP8 on the exchange, and I changed his hair to "Djinn #5" (just google it)

The pregnancy dress is definitely from RustyNail.
I believe the mom's outfit here is from AllAboutStyle. Do correct me if I'm wrong.
The sim I started out with for the mom is from MartyP8 on the exchange.

How to pose and snapshot in the Sims 3

A few friends of mine have commented on my FB pictures about how to take pictures, pose, and where to get CC, so I'll just make a post so I don't have to explain it more than once.

To pose your sims, make sure you have cmomoney's Pose Player from modthesims.info found here:
http://www.modthesims.info/download.php?t=438706

If you do not know how to make it show up in your game, make sure to check out the install instructions on the site for .package files.

When it is showing up in your game, you can go around to different Sims 3 sites and download .package files with poses, called pose packs. (I have a ton from Maximum btw)

To test it, go into your game, have your sim active, and click on the Pose Player. Select either "Select pose from list" or "Pose by name."

If it does not show up in the list, select Pose by name, and type in its code (the creator has codes on the download page.)

When you want to take a snap, angle your camera the way you want, and press C. (pressing C takes a snapshot and hides the UI. It does not hide the plumbob, so be careful about camera angling)

Introduction

I made this blog because I don't want some of my pictures to be confined to just my Facebook.

Lately, I have found it as kind of a hobby of mine to make sims and take plenty of pictures of them using the pose player. No, I don't actually make them. I enjoy starting with a good face, then adding to them with what I have. I have yet to make any custom content. My favorite sim to work with so far is Judy from MartyP8 on the exchange.

Anyway, I love taking pictures in the game. I have also made a couple music videos (except youtube will only accept one of them, blah.)

So, I will be posting some of my pictures here, and probably listing a bunch of CC. (Although, I have so much CC I doubt I will remember who I have gotten it from. lol)

Last note: My favorite CC creator is LemonLeaf.
